Senior Residence Performances

Heart of Music Inc performs at many senior residences. During the performances, we play a variety of music, including solos, duets, trios, and other group performances. We play classical, jazz, and pop music. It has been found that music can improve memory and focus, help with depression and stress, and promotes overall mental and physical health.

Arbors Assisted Living 12/27/22

We had our first event this year at The Arbors Assisted Living Communities on 12/27/22! We played our solo pieces and many Christmas songs together! It was a lot of fun and the seniors in the audience enjoyed it very much. Click here to learn more.

Arbors Assisted Living 4/5-4/7/23

Heart of Music performed a 3-day program at Arbors Assisted Living from 4/5/23 to 4/7/23. We played many eras of music, including baroque and classical music. We also featured many French composers, including Chopin. On the third day, Lisa and Samyra played four duets, featuring music from the movie Frozen and Fly Me to the Moon. In addition, Judy played a traditional Chinese instrument, bringing more diversity to our performance. We had a lot of fun and the audience enjoyed it very much! Click here for more.

The Residences at Plainview 4/23/23

Heart of Music performed many new pieces at the Residences at Plainview on 4/23/2023! Lisa and Samyra performed several Disney songs. Also, we had many classical and pop songs. It was a lot of fun and the seniors enjoyed it very much!
